March 15 will be a busy sunday for Rose as two of her upcoming projects will be shown at the SXSW 2015 edition! First, Adult Beginners is scheduled at the Topfer Theatre in the afternoon and then, Spy, at the Paramount Theatre in the evening. They’re both in the ‘Screening’ category but I suppose we could hope for, at least, a red carpet for Spy, especially at this hour and because it will be its first promotional screening. Fingers crossed! Also, find just below the first still for Adult Beginners!

Rose will receive the AACTA Trailblazer Award at the AACTA Awards on Thursday, 29th January in Sydney! Congratulations to her and we can’t wait to get pictures from the event. You can also read a new interview below (and via the source)!
Rose Byrne admits she isn’t great at talking about herself. It just doesn’t feel right. That said, the Australian actress is thankful for the opportunities that have allowed her to become one of our biggest international exports.
“I find it hard to do,” Byrne tells Insider at Sydney’s Darling Hotel. “It is more about commenting on one’s own career, because it is just your life and you navigate it the best way you can.”
The New York-based actress, 35, is home to receive the inaugural Trailblazer Award at the annual AACTA Awards on Thursday, honoured for her contribution to the industry. She’s starred in several award-winning Australian films, including Two Hands and My Mother Frank, as well as Hollywood blockbusters including Troy, 28 Weeks Later and X-Men: First Class.
“I grew up here doing Australian television, film and theatre and I continue to do so, but not as much now because I am away,” she says. “There is something extra-special and emotional about coming home to receive something like this. It is so important to continue to nourish our industry and to continue to tell our stories and to have an Australian voice.”

Apparently, Rose may have a new project which isn’t surprising since she only have one pending project right now, The Something. Only one website relay the information so maybe we should stay prudent for the moment. I really hope this rumor is true, it would be amazing to see Rose opposite Susan Sarandon.
Lorene Scafaria has signed on to direct THE MEDDLER, with Rose Byrne, Susan Sarandon and J.K. Simmons attached to star. The film’s plot is being kept under lock and key, as the project is still unannounced. The roles Byrne, Sarandon, and Simmons will play are also currently under wraps, but their inclusion in the film elevates the project’s status. I’m also hearing that the budget for the film will be raised significantly following the A-list attachments. With no information having been previously released, Scafaria’s attachment is a huge boost for the indie production’s future.
Scafaria burst onto the scene after writing the Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist adaptation. She also wrote and directed the apocalyptic romance Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which stars Steve Carrell and Keira Knightley. Next up, she’s set to serve as an executive producer on Relanxious and will write Man And Wife and 40 Days of Dating. She also recently starred in 2014′s Coherence.

Rose Byrne was ravishing in red while sitting down for an appearance on The Tonight Show on Thursday (September 18) in New York. The 35-year-old actress was there to promote her new movie This Is Where I Leave You, as well as her new Broadway play You Can’t Take It With You, which just began performances.
“It’s really exciting. James Earl Jones is in the play. He’s a legend of stage and screen and he gets a huge thunderous applause when he comes on stage, obviously, because he’s just magnificent,” Rose said on the program. “I come on after him and I wasn’t expecting an applause, but I get sort of a worse thing. Like a half applause. Like an ‘Ehhh. Sure, she’s on the poster. Who is this girl?’ I never know whether to stop or not. I think it’s just my friends who come every night.”
