Rose Byrne, Margot Robbie and Jolene Anderson are among the Aussie stars in the running to play Princess Mary on the small screen next year.
Channel 10 has announced it is making a miniseries about Tasmanian-born Mary’s life. The production, titled Mary: The Making of a Princess, will be shot on location in Australia and Denmark next year. It is being produced by Fremantle Media Australia, the company behind Neighbours, Wonderland, Wentworth and the miniseries, Schapelle, which screened on Channel 9 this year.
Although casting is yet to officially start, TV insiders are already speculating about who has what it takes to bring Mary’s real-life fairytale to life.
